Two angles are Adjacent when they have a common side and a common vertex (corner point) and don't overlap. (mathisfun) for example: |dw:1423148258530:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so Angle BAC is adjacent to angle CAD because they share the common line segment AC and do not overlap each other.

"Adjacent angles are two angles that have a common vertex and a common side."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is it angle XBG and FBC? or CBX & FBC? or neither of those?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so when I have a question like that, I tend to redraw all the angles so I can see them, especially since you have alot of larger angles that encompass smaller angles in an attempt to confuse you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is answer one:|dw:1423148433137:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1423148500531:dw|this is answer 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its one of these

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1423148653954:dw|this is answer three.. see, if you redraw it ignoring all the other angles (and make sure to draw dashed lines for lines INBETWEEN your angles) it will be easier to see.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I get it. god im going to fail pssa's xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no dont think "IM GONNA FAIL!" just get out the pencil and be willing to redraw, draw on stuff, fold paper, etc. get physical with that stuff! use your body to make the angles with your arms if you have to. Think "thank goodness someone like me is here to solve this problem!
