TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

No it isn't

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

A is absolutle 200% wrong.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

They were equal but seperated. Not the opposite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Have you heard ablout black codes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheSmartOne No :p

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

The balck codes were used to seperate blacks from the whites. The balcks weren't allowed to be outside after a certain time. The blacks weren't allowed to go here and do this. The whites made this codes so that way even though the blacks were technically free, but they still had to follow whatever rules they made.

@TheSmartOne OHH thank you :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

"In the United States, the Black Codes were laws passed by Southern states in 1865 and 1866, after the Civil War. These laws had the intent and the effect of restricting African Americans' freedom, and of compelling them to work in a labor economy based on low wages or debt."
