Can someone please explain to me the difference between the verbs send and sent? I know that sent is the past tense/participle of send, but sometimes the word send is used in the past tense. So, if someone could explain it to me, that would be great!

Send is in future tense like I will SEND you the Email lator, and SENT is past tense as he/she has already sent the Email.
