Hey guys, I'm not so great at slopes so if you can help me with a few questions and EXPLAIN them thoroughly.. much appreciated.

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

Choose the correct slope of the line that passes through the points (-4, 8) and (-3, -6). 7 -14 0 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can help you out here.

I have to re-download the program I use to visualize graphs. If @DuckDynastyfan923 can solve it before it gets done, then he may.

Lol I'm a girl, but I'm on my kindle and it's not letting me draw out the formula.

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

:)

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

I don't completely understand slopes at all >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In order to find the slope of a line, we have to first find the change in X and Y. So, if our points are (-4, 8) and (-3, -6). What is the change in X? What is the change in Y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, I'm getting on a computer, just wait a sec for it to load.

OpenStudy (afrodiddle):

x changed by 1? and y changed by 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, so remember the slope formula? |dw:1423160536273:dw| put your point is and you get |dw:1423160598207:dw| can you solve?
