@samson245
The first thing you need to do is check that your sound is not muted. In the bottom left corner of your screen, next to your clock, should be a little speaker. Click on it and make sure your sound is turned up. If it is, click on "Mixer" and make sure the program you have is not muted and is turned up.
i did that
but its not muted
Okay, if they're not muted, then perhaps you don't have the device's drivers installed. Can you give me the exact name and model of the speakers/computer?
I have to leave work to head home; I should be home in about an hour and a half to answer your question. If noone answers it by then I can.
Do you know if it has a sound card or if the sound driver is built in?
i think its built in
Now what I need you to do is open the start menu and go to the control panel, then to system and security, then system, and then to device manager. Then double click the sub-category "sound, video and game controllers"(it may be named differently) Then you simply double click the device you use for your audio and/or video and go to the "drivers" tab, and click the "update driver" button and see if that fixes the issue. haha, isn't it great to both be computer geeks, hun? XP
yes :D
