Question?

OpenStudy (133):

Jim provides photos for two online sites: site A and site B. Site A pays $0.85 for every photo Jim provides. The amount in dollars (y) site B pays as a function of the number of photos provided (x) is represented by the equation y = 0.40x. How much more was Jim paid at site A than at site B, if he provided five photos for each site? $1.15 $1.35 $2.15 $2.25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, site A pays him $0.85 for each photo, and site B pays him 0.40 each photo, so what is your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.25 because a pays 4.25 for 5 and b does 2 for 5!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I would say $2.25

OpenStudy (133):

Ok thanks!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i agree with @ryryry your right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ryryry Please don't give direct answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@133 Multiply 0.85 and 0.40 to 5.

OpenStudy (133):

@AnswerMyQuestions he also explained

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't matter if you explain it, because the person asking the question can just look at the answer and don't pay attention to the explanation.
