Erm. Since my last poem got such a response, I figured I'd post some more. Dunno if they're any good, and they certainly don't make sense, but I had fun writing these nonsense-y ones. :) (Posted in comments)

Now don’t be afraid, you silly bird, of the Unseen and the Unheard For you are they, and they are you, And maybe the sky isn’t quite so blue But green, or pink, or not there at all. Careful, little bird, and you won’t fall. But falling might be good, how do you know? For what isn’t is, and what is isn’t so. And nothing is everything. Now bird don’t you see? Don’t be afraid, silly bird, Just let things be.

Come sing with me And dance And laugh Among the clouds so bright Come run with me Among the stars And in the morning light Come hold my hand And a sailor be To the edge of Earth Come be with me And you will see The wonder of rebirth And tapestries Of Golden Glow Laced in between with silver thread And beauty in the world around The living and the dead The wonder and the spectacle Of trees, and sky, and sun The peaceful breezes in the air That tell us we are one Come soar and see the world and all The wonders of the sea One with the planet And one with life If you’ll Come sing With me.

Rabbit does as Rabbit does And she don’t care what you may think And watch her close or she might go Away as soon as you blink And Rabbit is and Rabbit ain’t and Rabbit she don’t know And Rabbit’s sure of everything Just tell her it ain’t so now see the rabbit as it hops in its natural habitat Leporidae, it is called, now would you fancy that? Fancy what? I sure don’t know But Rabbit, she says it’s so So you see, the lesson is, There is no lesson at all So hop around as Rabbit does But don’t be quite so Tall.

I love the way you express your ideas, I like your word choice...they take me away completely away...I found myself completely engaged following you through your poems and the n the endings wrapped them up!! Great job! :)

Thank you very much! ^_^

sorry about my typing...I broke my right wrist. I have two pins and a cast on it now, so typing is problematic! LOL

OpenStudy (clalgee):

Wow! @LeeEtchison You are a wonderful writer! I love your poems! The first poem was very meaningful. I love how you expressed the message of, "Letting things be what they are". The second poem was my favorite amongst all of them. It just flows so well like a river in a stream. You have wonderful figurative speech and your poems are so well written. Perfect grammar and punctuation! The last poem made me smile I had no idea what to expect from a rabbit! Your poems are really amazing and I urge you to keep on writing! Please! I would really love to read more of your poems :)
