Yeah They just talk about money, clothes, and Girls at the club oh and cars. Like rap or sing about your some real stuff! Everyone song you here is money balling dancing on a pole!! Omg talk about Ferguson or about 20 kids dieing to the flu, or about how our government is just taking our money like dang! Back in the 90's they talked about those things and yeah they did talk about money and Girls and clothes because all there rappers where young or they started from the bottom! Come on!! I will say though Eminem talked about his life, later on in the future! When things started to hit him in the head! With rehab and pills! But yeah Music has changed!!

Music nowadays uses the exploitation of its young people to make money and they are sending such bad messages to OUR YOUTH. Nothing MEANINGFUL !!! Where's the MEANINGFUL MUSIC !!??!??!??! Now it's all about BIG BUTTS and EVERYONE SOUNDS THE SAME !!! It's really changing, and WE, THE YOUTH OF AMERICA, HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE IT FOR THE BETTER !!!!!!

They sing about what will make them fast money and that happens to be sexual seductive lyrics, kinda like porn, it's just what they think people buy, partly because nobody at the top of the music business will take the high rode and say something pertinent to this planet that we live on after the 3 minutes of hearing their song. If the president would just read the lyrics that the youth of HIS country listens to, I think he'd vomit. It's the music his daughters listen to and are HEAVILY influenced by. J-Lo is smoking a cigarette in her new music video. She is a role model for so many young people. How is that a positive influence in any way shape or form? If you read todays lyrics like a book, it would be horrifying. Just to quote some . . .

TRASHY LYRICS are coming from EVERYBODY at the TOP of the CHARTS.

Our YOUTH is a CLASSY AND INTELLIGENT GENERATION but the Music always reflects the People and look at our Top Charts ? Are WE, the YOUTH, ANYTHING LIKE THOSE PEOPLE ?

Why would WE WANT to listen to songs that say nothing other than Porn-type lyrics and nothing else. Shallow, Trashy, Pornographic music is what we hear and see as normal. The older generations of people control what gets created and released and what we hear. They run the music business, fund upcoming soon-to-be-lyrical-pornstars, create our radios, pick our CDs, choose who stays at the top, choose who falls. They RUN OUR MUSIC !!! Understand why the people of the music business are doing this. If they exploit young people like us, people will surely buy their music. Just like porn. It sells.
Look at what people were listening 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago. It's only deteriorated in the last 2-5 years. Our generation is the first of the YOUTH to hear music like this. We know no different. Look at the video games young people play. They all exploit women and have violence and corruption and soft porn. Kids are being given theses games to play to make them shut up so its accepted.

f you close your eyes and visualize what some people are singing about, it's absurd to think that toddlers and children can hear that. In those lines that I posted from some songs out now, it would be ludicrous to think that if you had a child, you'd say, oh, wow, I'm really digging those lyrics and think my kid should TOTALLY listen to them and sing along with their songs.
I'm saying that people should be aware of the MESSAGE they're sending to THE YOUTH.
