OpenStudy (znappydooz):

How do you explain evolution in terms of natural selection? What do scientists use to see how organisms are related? What were some changes that happened with the hominids and why do you think their skulls changed?

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

@iGreen., can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, hold on a bit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Natural Selection means that species evolve over time because of better features.. For example, if there are white and gray moths that live on rocks, the gray one's will most likely survive and the population will become all gray moths eventually because the white one's are easier to see and they will be eaten..but the gray one's are camouflaged so they are harder to see.

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Alright, that can explain the first... Can you help me on the others?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do scientists use to see how organisms are related? Well of course they analyze the organisms' DNA.

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Oh, that's right XD I missed that one :P Haha, last one XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What were some changes that happened with the hominids and why do you think their skulls changed? You could say because their brains got bigger, which is true..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ZnappyDooZ

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Brain got bigger, or facial feature changed and made the skull change as well?
