Please help me with 3 algebra 1 questions! I will give a medal. I need help!!
Ya, what it?
I had posted them earlier but no one helped here they are
Check that problem, look at it and try to analyse that at first
Ok. What is an exponential growth function? Can you help me make one?
Exponential growth occurs when the growth rate of the value of a mathematical function is proportional to the function's current value..
oh! Lol I knew that
Thanks though
So how would I make one?
Okay, whats next.. to start of it, the frog one looks easy. wait. I'll frame the explanation
Ok
Let us have a exponential value.. say it is :|dw:1423232795843:dw|
And now we'll see how "x" grows faster exponentially
Alright
How do we do that?
for y we'll put in values, as -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3
and make a table, for keeping a check over its exponential growth. You get that bit right?
And then graph that!
Did you get that?
The first questions, says its simple and now you know how to do it (Of course you must know DOMAIN and RANGE!)
The third question is bit stiff, will help you through, Dwayne is correct about the perimeter but incorrect about the area. Let's say the side was of lngth sqrt(2). The area is sqrt(2) times sqrt(2) = 2 which is a rational number. The perimeter is 4s or 4 Sqrt(2) which is still irrational.
ok
The frog one sucks!! Here's a function: y = 200(1.03^4) 200 is the initial number of frogs 1.03 means that the number of frogs is increasing by 3% per year and the 4 = # of years, 4 years Therefore y gives you the total number of frogs after 4 years, if you were to start with 200 frogs and they increase by 3% per year.
ok
Hey! Is that okay, did that help?
Yes, thank you!
