Subtract two and one-half from both sides; three and one-third Add two and one-half to both sides; eight and one-third Subtract five and five-sixths from both sides; three and one-third Add five and five-sixths to both sides; eight and one-third Question 16 (Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) [6.02] MA.6.A.3.6 Which of the following is true? two comma two lies on the y-axis zero comma one lies on the x-axis To plot seven comma three, you travel 7 units to the right. To plot four comma one, you travel 4 units up.
\(x + 2 \dfrac{1}{2} = 5 \dfrac{5}{6}\) 2 1/2 is being ADDED to 'x', to solve for 'x' we have to do the opposite. So what's the opposite of addition? @sweeter
