sammixboo (sammixboo):

What does sentinel/sentire mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sentinel means: a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch. and i don't know what sentire means

OpenStudy (anonymous):

English words for the Italian word sentire feel, hear, listen to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is an analogy. I believe the word sentinel is derived from the Latin/Greek root sentire. So, you just have to find out which word (sensuous, old, tangent, or toward) is derived from one of the following: sonare, olere, tangere, or ad. :)
