I need help solving a fog (x) equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok go on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so I have f(x)=x^3 and g(x)=4x^3-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And so far I got 4( x^3)^3 -2 but I don't know if I set that up right?

OpenStudy (adamaero):

ya, that's not right, opposite f of g means g INTO f (not f into g)

OpenStudy (adamaero):

so you should cube the equation of g

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh okay. So then it should be written as \[(4x^3-2)^3\]?
