Functions can only have 1 value of 'x'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only one input(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So which one do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Y? @iGreen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, 'y' has two 9's in it, don't you see the two arrows coming from '9'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That means there are two of them..so Y is incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no W

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, that's incorrect also. Look at the numbers on the left for each of the four options.. You can only have 1 arrow coming out of each of them. W has two arrows coming from '3' so it is not a function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X it has to be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, X has two arrows coming out of '5'..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks
