Hi! Welcome to OpenStudy!

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Do you know what color litmus paper turns into when immersed in an acid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint,blue to red(acidic) and red to blue(alkaline) @Allen400

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

if litmus paper is placed in a solution and it becomes RED , it means the solution is acidic (Blue -> Red = acidic) If litmus paper is placed in a solution and it becomes BLUE, it means the solution is alkaline or basic (Red -> Blue = Basic)
