The lagging strand in DNA replication _________________________. A-is produced in sections, or segments, known as Okazaki fragments B-requires the enzyme ligase to connect the individual fragments together to form a new strand C-is called discontinuous because the nucleotides are not laid down one after the other D-All of the above are correct HELP??
@alyssa.ward2016 are u there?
yea
@shrutipande9
have u studied the process of replication completely?
not really, i have a lesson on it but theres somuch information its hard to take it all in and understand it all ya know?
okay..i will show u a few videos...after watching that if u have doubts..i can sort that out..okay?
alright thanks!

is it B
not really
hmm..
A
No its C
i hv given me all the possible answers...did u see d video?
Well obviously its not D or B so its either A or C
as the lagging srand template runs from 5' to 3' the new strand formed as to be developed in breaks from opposite direction....so okazaki fragments are formed. its not B because ligase is required for both the strands...and its obv not c because its not discontinuous
I said A the first time lol
yeah but then u also said b and c
true..
im so bad in biology....
u r not..just read nicely...u will understand everything...if u dont...i am here to help..but make an attempt to read first
