We can create a symmetric matrix out of any matrix by adding it to its own transpose, for example: \[\Large A+A^T\] we can verify this: \[\Large (A+A^T)^T = A^T+A^{TT} = A^T+A = A+A^T\]Is there any other way we can create a symmetric matrix using only a single matrix?
