James Watson and Francis Crick won the Nobel Prize for ______________________. A-building an accurate model of a DNA molecule B-discovering the DNA molecule in the nucleus of cells C-discovering the transforming principle D-All of the above are correct I think D need 2nd opinion! :)
I cant decide is its A or B, but i know they built the structure of DNA but which one basically says that??
@butterflydreamer please help!!
I really feel B... but at the same time maybe A, ive looked it up and it says they discovered the structure of DNA.
i think it would be A. From what i've learnt, Watson and Crick are renown for their structure of DNA model :)
but did they build it or just discover it? thats where im stuck. when i look it up it says they discovered it but none of my options just say they discovered it.... :/
hmm well actually, the person who discovered that dna was present in the nucleus was Friedrich Miescher i think :O... And if you google what Watson and Crick are famous/known for, it comes up with their structure of DNA which was the double helix model... and we can say that it is accurate because that is what scientists use nowadays :) They now know that dna is a double helix structure. So i'd stick with A :)
thank you!!
you're welcome :) Hope it's correct xD
lol me too!
^_^ i'm happy that you put a lot of thought into this question and did your own research first though.. SO you get a medal xD
woop woop!!
