An adult female panda weighs 200 lbs. It's newborn baby weighs 3/4 lbs. What is the ratio of the adult panda to the baby panda? Will give medal if someone will show me how! (Im new to this)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a ratio is just this to that. the ratio you are making is the adult panda's weight to the baby panda's weight. so you have 200 to 3/4, or just 200:3/4. :)

but you cannot have fractions in a ratio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, then just simplify 3/4 to 0.75.
