@Tallan Do you know what a box-plot looks like?

Anyway, go to http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fa/Michelsonmorley-boxplot.svg/2000px-Michelsonmorley-boxplot.svg.png&imgrefurl=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box_plot&h=225&w=225&tbnid=nOUeSFtwaIuwVM:&zoom=1&tbnh=160&tbnw=160&usg=__MTFrKHoUjP9Mx0iFRxaJ9W_v_mU=&docid=oV6P7IKRFMC54M&itg=1 Experiments #2,4,5 are box-plots, and #1,3 are modified box-plots. There should be enough hints in there. Also an outlier is defined as (by wiki): "In statistics, an outlier is an observation point that is distant from other observations. An outlier may be due to variability in the measurement or it may indicate experimental error; the latter are sometimes excluded from the data set." Finally, my advice is, in math, everything starts with understanding the definition of terms. It is easy to get lost if we don't find out what each term means.
