Prepainted Picture


Blinking life away,
calling myself grey.
Told to bough down
Falling with unheard sounds.
Told to be scared,
now pretending to care...
Falling on my face.
Now comes ANOTHER mistake.
fighting the power,
then the truth.
Hiding for the enemy
Left with society as my excuse.
Indecisive remains,
faking the pressure,
not to mention the pain.
Totally unaware.
Life was never fair.
But eventually it will cave.
Till im under a rock.
Now the truth slips away
and I'm left in
shock...

@musicmaster i wrote a sad poem because its something that ive been thinking about constently. We all have this problem whether we realize it or not

u know poetry is a really funny thing for me. Because i hated poetry for the longest time. But i had never been taught free verse. Well the funny thing is that i had been writing free verse as thoughts just falling out on the page. I thought it was bad writing that somehow made me feel better lol. I had no idea that what i was doing was a legit thing until the end of my freshman yr of highschool lol
