HI!!
your teacher is a bit confused, \[4x^3-2x^2y\]does not have a greatest common factor, but the terms do
they both have a factor of 2, and also of \(x^2\) so the greatest common factor of the terms is \[2x^2\]
you can "factor it" as \[2x^2(2x-y)\]
I have like multiply of these. could you help me through this? I do independent studies and my teacher honestly doesn't help at all. @misty1212
