What are other styles of good note taking? I know double column, cornell, and outline, but I'm wondering if there are any others worth mentioning...

You can do the mapping method, where you link things together like this|dw:1423522970119:dw|

@iheartfood Thanks!

Charts, where you sort of columnize things :) by topic, facts, etc and there's another one, that I forget the name of, but you basically underline or highlight key words in your notes. and your notes are written in sentence structure (sort of paragraph like by topic) and when you highlight key words/phrases, you zone in on whats most important!

and that's all i can think of hahaa you're welcome :) hope it helps! i personally find the simpler they are, the better! but i've tried all methods, and they're great! Sometimes i combine some into them... for example, i'll use the cornell method but use the mapping for a certain topic to serve as a visual aid of sorts!

OpenStudy (spudmushie123):

Yeah. This really helped! Thanks!
