HELP, PLEASE! ;-; Will give medal for correct answers! Choose exactly two answers that are correct. Cora is graphing the equation y = 12x. She has placed a point on the origin and uses the slope to find 2 more points. Which points does Cora plot on her graph? Choose exactly two answers that are correct. A. (−1, −12) B. (−12, −1) C. (1, 12) D. (12, 1)

OpenStudy (jokersmart):

Help is MUCH appreciated.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well just plug in the x values to get the y values. For example in 4x = y when x = 1 y = 4 so (1,4)

Mehek (mehek14):

ok lets use the first answer choice -12 = 12*-1 is that true?

OpenStudy (jokersmart):

Yea?

Mehek (mehek14):

ok so that is your first answer

OpenStudy (jokersmart):

Okay

Mehek (mehek14):

now your second answer can be the same ordered pair but with different signs since it was -1,-12, it can be positive what answer choice it that?

OpenStudy (jokersmart):

Oooh so A and C?

Mehek (mehek14):

OpenStudy (jokersmart):
