439 lb looks right but I am not sure.
Yep, I submitted that answer. It was correct, but not entirely sure how to get there.
The way I did it is first find the scaling factor such that c|AB|=500. Then project AB onto AC. Finally, find the magnitude of the projection and multiply by the scaling factor.
