Another question about limits?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(\sqrt{x}-\sqrt{2})/\sqrt{x^3-8}\] when approaching 2.. I think the limit does not exist

OpenStudy (diamondboy):

if u plug in 2 u would notice u get an indeterminate form which is 0/0 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well yeah also the graph of that function doesn't exist if x<2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the one sided limits are different, shouldn't the function have no limit as it approaches 2

OpenStudy (diamondboy):

yea

OpenStudy (diamondboy):

as long you are sure d limits are not d same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty sure that's the answer thanks :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Guess you got it taken care of @SAValkyrie , lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that right? l0l
