What is the output obtained across the resistor on a oscilloscpoe for a circuit with 3 voltage sources and a resitor in series. the sources being V1= 10sin(5t) v V2=6sin(2t) v V3=-6v R= 1k

OpenStudy (kenljw):

I impedance of OS is Z then what you see is (V1 + V2 +V3) Z/(Z + R)

Use voltage divider rule for combination of three internal resistances of voltage sources in series with the 1 k ohm resistor. Also you can get more accurate results if you include oscilloscope's input impedance in parallel with 1 k ohm resistor.
