She did not have to medal u but whatever @eddiessocool The total cost included the price of the book, 7% sales tax on the price of the book, and a $4.50 shipping charge. Elizabeth paid a total of $31.25. What was the pre-tax price of the book? $31.25-$2.19= $29.06 that is the pre tax price of the book. now I'm not sure if u should deduct the shipping charge but it just says the pre tax so keep it there and hope its right :P

OpenStudy (sparklestaraa):

Heres how u can show how u did it 31.25*.07= 2.1875 u can round that (but it doesn't ask so heres the pre sales tax- $29.0625) just leave it as 29.06 thats the rounded off price :D It is the same both ways where you round it or not.
