An irrational number is any real number that cannot be expressed as a ratio of integers and cannot be represented as terminating or repeating decimals.
Can you give me an example?
An example would be pi. It is not repeating.
So the answer is when calculate it and if it doesn't repeat then thats the answer?
Well, yeah. Irrational numbers cannot repeat.
