Select the statements that are true of the Spanish exploration and conquests in America. They were looking for wealth. They often searched for legends. They made many political allies. They sought a new route to Asia. They were very kind to the Indians. They claimed very little land except along the coast. They brought Spain great wealth. They attracted a great deal of interest in Spain.

What do you think the answers is, @sarahprincess98 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea, im really stuck on this question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK, well the Spanish sent out conquistadors, also means conquerors.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Their mission was to find gold, and any other forms of wealth. Land wouldn't be a bad thing either.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is A, B, G and H?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They never had much interests in legends, but Ponce de Leon DID want to find the Fountain of Youth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct ^-^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you tell me the answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I cannot give direct answers, but the ones you named would be correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A, B, G and H? is there any other ones?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do not believe so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C, D, E, F are all false.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. thank you so much!. can you help me with just one more question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! Fire away.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Crusades and the travels of Kublai Khan increased trade and travel in the Middle Ages. True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, before I give any other reply, what do you believe the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is true, but i not 100% sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is true that the Crusades brought wealth to Europe, but it is not true about Kublai Khan. He was an emperor of China.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This was a trick question. Part is true, but part is false, and for it to be true, every part has to be true.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, yes, it is false ^-^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem @sarahprincess98 :)
