In "Why You Reckon" what argument does the other man use to convince the narrator to team up with him? What lesson do you think the narrator learned by the end of the evening?... Heres what i had...Its a persuasive argument, What he learns all depends on how the story plays out if its bad then he would learn that he needs to know both sides of the story before he goes and picks sides... I wanna know what i had done wrong in this one @sammyjpod

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm okay i could understand the 2/5. you dont exactly answer the question and it is a bit confusing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is asking how the other man get the narrator to help mug the man. i dont see anything in your answer that touches on that part of the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And you also answer the second part sort of wrong. it is asking what lesson the narrator learned by the end of the story. Your answer doesnt really pertain to the story and you dont use any context from the story in your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you help me with it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i suggest that when answering these questions in the future, try and repeat what the question asks in your answer so that you know you are on topic. also make relations from the story in your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is it that you want help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There a chance you can kinda explain the story to me a bit more? or maybe give me a link to the story

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you go to connections academy yeah? you should be able to go back in the lessons to see the story right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is in the lesson it should just link you to the story.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these were questions from lesson 6 in unit 1. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah this is the last question from the assignment in Lesson 6, Did you go to Connections also or are you still in it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay yeah. im a little past that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok i have something new for the first part of this question what you think? The other man convinces the narrator by offering him money and food if they mug a guy, when the narrator doesnt want to the other man makes him think that the white folks dont care about them so the narrator goes along with him...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that much better. are you redoing it to like resubmit it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just to try and get my grade back up i ended up with an 8/13 and if i dont get it back up to at least a C my mom is taking my phone and ps3 until i do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay so will your teacher let you resubmit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah i had looked up the policies then messaged her and she told me to just webmail my final answers to her

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay nice!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok i have the second part of it done what you think of this one? By the end of the story the narrator learns that the white folks werent always happy wither, and that the other man had lied to him about them...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that is better :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So think these will help with my grade?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes they should!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank you so much :)
