HELP PLEASE! If Each body paragraph will have a topic sentence, several support sentences, and then a concluding sentence. What is the purpose of the SUPPORT SENTENCES in the body paragraphs?

It helps explain the topic in more detail. If you didn't have the support of sentences in paragraphs your essay would be confusing.
