Which part of the eukaryotic cell contains information to direct the cell’s functions?

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Every eukaryotic cell gets the information it needs to direct its function from its genetic material, meaning its DNA. The DNA is located inside the nucleus in the center of the cell. The nucleus contains the DNA, which codes for the functional products of the cell - thereby controlling the functions.
