Well if they are they are busy i dont think many users would ignore mentions for example i get too many mentions i do as much as i can (this is true)

which means that they might appear online but they would not respond
some people don't have openstudy open as a main priority
like I've been catching up on some anime while having openstudy open
but then I forget and people tag me only for me to notice and hour later ;-;

like i have to annotate this whole book today
and that is my priority......others have other priorities
and you have to realize that although tagging people with high ss is a reliable source for help......they are usually really busy with many other questions

True everything above. Just to add a few points. I get so many tags at once, its hard to go and check all of them and go help everyone who needs help still. And even after I logoff I get all these notifications wheter the are tags or replies in a post. So right when I log on I check all of thise but then I get tags, so I put off those tags until I am done with all my notifications and its hectic being so popular on OS. So now I kind of go to some tags (especially if its in Feedback) and I ginore other tags. But if I know someone and they tag me, I sure will come.
