B and C is figurative, because in C, your wife can't be sunshine. The Sun is very hot and could burn you. If you look at the sun too long, you will surely go blind.

B. It says he loves his wife from the bottom of his heart. Love doesn't technically come from the "heart" Your heart isn't where you get your feelings from. That's all inside of your brain, so to speak.
