Can one process go on continually without the other? Be sure to support your answer with what you have learned about each process.
its talking about Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration
write reaction that happen in both
what do you mean?
what reaction happens in photosynthesis? what reaction happens in cellular respiration?
do you still not get what im saying?
Photosynthesis is the process of converting light energy to chemical energy and storing it in the bonds of sugar. This process occurs in plants and some algae (Kingdom Protista). Plants need only light energy, CO2, and H2O to make sugar. The process of photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplasts, specifically using chlorophyll, the green pigment involved in photosynthesis.
Cellular respiration allows organisms to use (release) energy stored in the chemical bonds of glucose (C6H12O6). The energy in glucose is used to produce ATP. Cells use ATP to supply their energy needs. Cellular respiration is therefore a process in which the energy in glucose is transferred to ATP.
i meant 'reaction' can you see relation? in photosynthesis plant produces glucose, oxygen and water in respiration USES glucose and oxygen to CO2, water AND energy
if one process would cut off what gonna happen to the other? if photosynthesis stops how can plant get glucose? how can cellular respiration happen? it can't, can it?
I see that I just don't know how to write it out..
just write both reactions then relate what each produces then give example of what i just said if photosynthesis stops- what does it lead to? plant cant get glucose so it can perform cellular respiration
its like a cycle photosynthesis produces glucose and oxygen for cellular respiration to happen while cellular respiration produces raw materials (CO2 and water) for photosynthesis to take place
if cellular respiration was to stop how the cell would get energy? would it survive? without energy? it cant! why? because all cellular metabolism depends on energy produced by cellular respiration while cellular respiration depends on photosynthesis and photosynthesis depends on cellular respiration so breaking off this chain would certainly eventually lead to death of the plant
doesn it make sense?
okay so I would just type about how if photosynthesis had no respiration it would have no energy
no not ' if photosynthesis had no respiration' its 'if photosynthesis would keep going and there is no cellular respiration' then bluh bluh happens
so I should write if photosynthesis would keep going and there is no cellular respiration then there would not be any energy
@Somy
yeah pretty
so just type that and nothing needs to be added right? :) thanks
?
well that depends on how much you need to be written
I think thats all i need i just need to ansswer it
If photosynthesis keeps going and cellular respiration stops - there will be no energy generation
