the world renowned dog elvis, is readying to fetch a tennis ball that was thrown into the stream by his master. assuming the tennis ball is located 100 feet east from dog and 40 feet north of shoreline. on the shoreline we know elvis can run 5 feet per seconds on land and can swim 3 feet per seconds in the water. At what point on the shoreline (measured directly due east from the initial position of the dog) must the dog jump in the water to fetch the ball in minimum time?
