Quiz questions! I just took a quiz on predicting the products of equations and I put no reaction for a few but I'm not completely sure that was right. Can 2 gases react? And can an aqueous solution decompose?

OpenStudy (jfraser):

two gases can certainly react. If they are simple gases, it might be a synthesis. If the gases are a hydrocarbon (like \(C_3H_8\) or something) and oxygen gas, \(O_2\), then it's a combustion

OpenStudy (jfraser):

an aqueous solution probably won't decompose, more likely the solute will dissociate, but that's not a visible reaction change

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

Yea it was a synthesis but not a combustion and it looked sorta weird :S and okay thank you :) @JFraser
