What was the outcome of the Worcester v. Georgia court case? The Cherokees won the right to stay on their land and were deemed an independent nation. The Cherokees lost their case and were forced to leave their land in Georgia. Under Andrew Jackson's influence, the Court ruled that the Cherokees were not an independent nation. The Cherokees won the right to gain supplies and land when they relocated to another state.
