MEDAL FOR FASTEST ANSWER How did Albert Einstein impact the us?

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Einstein revealed the fact that a little bit of mass equaled a large amount of energy, if only that energy could be liberated. This led to the development of nuclear weapons, which have suppressed warfare to relatively small conflicts ever since, and under the aegis of the United States, none have resulted in significant changes of territory for any aggressor combatants.

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Einstein changed physics entirely. His special theory of relativity changed the way we view motion in the world. His E = mc2 like you stated was integral to the advancement of quantum mechanics among other things.

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

And E = mc2 made possible the development of the Atomic bomb
