Four major blood phenotypes (A, B, AB, and O) are determined by three alleles: A, B, and O. A person with type A has a certain protein on their blood cells' membranes. A person with type B has a different protein appearing on their cells' membranes. Cells from type AB have both proteins, but cells from type O, which is recessive, has neither protein. This example illustrates which of the following phenomena?

I think it might be codominance

Do you have choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes... One second

Biology might be a better place to post this question :)

codominance Complete dominance partial dominance Polygenic inheritance

Yes, but there is no one online in biology... I posted this question on there like two hours ago and nothing...

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

codominance is when they share the traits like they blend so i dont think it will b that one.. I'm going to guess it will be polygenic inheritance but i dont really know what that means but you get your blood types inherited soo... sorry i can't help >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks anyway

I would go with co-dominance.
