PLEASE HELP ME

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay

OpenStudy (dan815):

the first step is kinda obvious but

OpenStudy (dan815):

I think you should think about why, multiplying or dividing by a negative number to everything would flip all the signs

OpenStudy (dan815):

the greater and equal signs gets flipped too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im going to use > < just know i mean with equal sign, 8 > 4 - 2x > -2 what you do first is want to isolate the 'x' This works the same in any equation, start with addition/subtraction: 8 - 4 > -2x > -2 -4 4 > -2x > -6 Next, we want to divide by the 2 4/2 > -x > -6/2 2 > -x > -3 to make x positive we multiply all sides by -1, this operation causes the signs to flip -2 < x < 3 giving B as the answer

OpenStudy (dan815):

oh sry i did some addition wrong he is right!

OpenStudy (dan815):

lemme show u an example
