PLEASE HELP!! MEDAL! In the 1920's, after years of agitation, the "Golden Door" was closed. It "caused America to sacrifice something of a tradition of freedom and opportunity, as well as much of its color and variety". Do you agree that immigration restrictions at the time were necessary?
