well if the number is doubled each time is is folded, and it starts out as 2mm, then at 1 fold it would equal 4mm, 2=8mm, 3=16mm and so on. does that makes sense?

well I think its asking you to write it out like i just did 1=4mm 2=8mm 3=16mm 4=32 mm and then for part b it is a function because you can put them into a graph and it will make a progressing line.
