Do you need help understanding the sentence or answering it? :)

Nnesha (nnesha):

lol jk explain please

OpenStudy (kainui):

Translate as best you can first

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay so i i guess its ..esta delante de la el ventana ?? is it right i need to know when we have to use de la or del

OpenStudy (kainui):

Ahh, well what's the difference between "el" and "la"? They're just different ways of saying the word "The" depending on if the object is feminine or masculine. So since window is a feminine word, we say "la ventana" instead of "el ventana" which makes sense since ventana ends in an "a" like most feminine words. So now to "del" or "de la" they are really just saying the same thing "of the" but for the masculine version people are super lazy so instead of "de el" they combined them together to make "del". Does that make it more clear what's going on?

Nnesha (nnesha):

yeah superb!!i understand that so its suppose to be de el ventana ?? right

OpenStudy (kainui):

why

Nnesha (nnesha):

because we use la for feminine and el for masculine form right ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmm wait its suppose to be del bec like you said guys are super lazy :D esta delante "del" ventana

Nnesha (nnesha):

"esta delante la veltana" got it ^^^finally bec window is feminine so i suppose to use la dell for masculine got it!! *_*

Nnesha (nnesha):

thank yu soo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Nnesha (nnesha):
