What was the military advantage the United States found in Hawaii? ASAP

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I think it's Pearl Harbor. - not sure though, so don't take that for granted ^^;

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

@kittiwitti1 please avoid giving direct answers http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct This site has a policy for "Give Help, Not Answers" violations of such policies could potentially result in an account suspension or ban.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

@jagr2713 I only gave an estimated assumption, not a direct answer...

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I don't even know if my answer is right

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

\[ \color {Blue}{You \ Said} \] I think it's Pearl Harbor \[\color {Blue}{Reply}\] Doesn't that count?

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Yes, that's a Direct answer. Anything that isn't an explanation is a direct answer. You could have added why you think its Pearl Harbor and made it an explanatory answer.

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

\[\color {Blue}{Comment}\] Yes, that's a Direct answer. Anything that isn't an explanation is a direct answer. You could have added why you think its Pearl Harbor and made it an explanatory answer. \[\color {Blue}{Reply}\] Yep

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

...what's with the format...? I only said what I said because I believed the user was online, and wished to discuss the topic. I understand that because there was no reply, it made my answer seem like it was missing an explanation, but that was definitely not the point of my answer. Besides, I see many people give direct answers in the presence of mods, and they don't seem to get in trouble... and I wasn't intending on giving a direct answer...

OpenStudy (conqueror):

You could have gave a link to something like wikipedia so that the asker could learn to research and get the answer on their own. :)

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I was instigating a discussion, but the user had already signed off long before I posted.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Very sorry kittiwitti1, though I'm not sure it was pearl harbor, was before those events, but thank you :)

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

It's okay, I hope I helped, even if it was a little bit...
