I will medal! If y = 7x- 5, which of the following sets represents possible inputs and outputs of the function, represented as ordered pairs? {(5, 0), (9, 2), (26,3)} {(2, 7), (1, 6), (3, 13)} {(0, 5), (2, 9), (3, 26)} {(1, 3), (6, 18), (8, 15)}

please help me!

Just put in some of the x values, and see if the sequences are even true. For example, I know the last one can't be true, looking at the first ordered pair (1,3), if I plug in 1 into the equation as x, I get back y = 7 - 5 which is 2, so it should really be (1,2) which it isn't, therefore it's wrong. The third one can't be right, again same method, if you plug in 0 into the function, you get back -5, not positive 5.

So try checking the other two, and if it works, then check the next pair to really verify.
