How many solutions does a linear system have, if the lines are intersecting? zero 1 2 infinitely many
1. If the lines are intersecting then the slopes MUST be different.
2. The x and y intercepts are only the same if the lines are the same ei. (on top of one another) so No, if they are intersecting at one point the intercepts must be different.
3. If the two lines are intersecting at one point, that point is the only solution.
When they are parallel (not touching, side by side) it has zero. If they intersect (touch) one time, they have 1 solution. If they intersect 2 times, they have 2 solutions, and if they overlap they have infinitely many.

Does that help?
no not rely
Are you even reading it, or do you just want the answer and to not learn? It is VERY simple.
Yes i am reading it.
Solutions happen when the lines touch,or go through each other.
