yes just the site is down i don't think the site is making your computer have a virus :/ and btw i know that the site didnt ruin my computer because im @chosenmatt so ive been on openstudy for a while and so i don't think this site will give your computer a virus :/ but...it's possible that anything could of happen...so im not sure why your computer is acting like that...

Try to disconnect your internet connection and then reconnect it. Most probably you will notice a change. This problem may be due bandwidth issues..

Openstudy is a very resource intensive site. That means the less ram and processing speed you have in your computer, the slower it will be. I am running a 3 ghz quad core processor (8 gb ram) and it is faster than on my 1 ghz laptop with 8 gb ram. it all depends. You definitely do not have a virus. If you are running a dinosaur computer it is going to be slow. I don't know what you are running, but I can assure you there is not a virus on your computer.

the shut downs could be various things including your computer running out of virtual or physical memory and shutting down. idk. various problems it could be.
