pooja195 (pooja195):

I was wondering why it says Homework today? Test tomorrow? I mean it kind of encourages people to ask test questions maybe that could be a possible reason why people even ask them =/ http://prntscr.com/64armx

OpenStudy (compassionate):

It's a marketing scheme. It's how we cash in on puberty and low self esteem. No, no, but you seem to be misguided. Study =/= cheating. Studying for pop quizzes, homework, tests, whatever it may be, isn't a violation of academic integrity. It's called group-studying. AKA an "Open Study."

pooja195 (pooja195):

I know but I showed a few people the website they think it encourages to ask test question =/ thats what it looks like

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Yeah. It's more misguiding than the girls I mess with. That says a lot. "Test Preparation? Exams ahead?" <- Maybe that would clear up the inconsistencies. Then again, cheaters will cheat; just like my ex girlfriend.

pooja195 (pooja195):

Right cheaters will cheat thats true but maybe they should change that because it is a bit misguiding

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Alas. Openstudy used to be much better in these matters before. This, or I am finding it difficult to accept the amazing changes and the complexity that has now been introduced here. There was really no concept of students spending money here either. Whether something always needs a revenue model, is a completely debatable thing. In the case of OS, it really depends on the owners. However, marketing it right, rather than to bring a crowd here, could have been a better strategy. Specially when the lag in the site's UI is worse than before.

pooja195 (pooja195):

@apoorvk your right :) OS isnt what it used to be but I mean we all still love it im just suggesting that maybe they should change that people get the wrong ideas when they see that

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

I know what you mean, Pooja. And yeah, I still love OS. Of course. It was a part of my growing up right after high school. (Gosh, it seems like last month, when I think of those days. Actually, summer of '12).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is kind of odd... however its been here for a long time so evidently its not going to be changed.

OpenStudy (kainui):

I don't see any issue here. Who doesn't study for a test the night before?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

eh... *looks arround nervously* i study for a test during my weekend... because for some reason thats when the mood hits me lol

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Its a type of internet trap to bring in more users since people think they'll get help with tests. So many people ask test questions and they are mostly always hit on the head with the code of conduct.
